Back in October, we were kindly invited to the Gunn & Moore HQ in Nottingham to see how their world renowned cricket bats are made. And we weren’t the only ones there that particular day.
Three members of the England squad, due to fly out for the Ashes (come on boys!), were personally overseeing the crafting of their own custom bats for the tests.
We had the fantastic opportunity to spend some time with them and find out a bit about what makes them tick, and more importantly, what’s inside their kit bag.
The first in a series of three, here’s Hampshire’s James Vince talking us through what he looks for in his gear.
